    Description

3 VINTAGE SHOE POLISH TINS-COMMON SENSE MARKET ST. PHILADELPHIA GRIFFIN & CADET WHITTEMORE'S
This is for three (3) vintage shoe polish tin containers that advertise for different companies. The first rare tin is called Common Sense Shoe Polish from the Sylvan Dalsimer & Sons from Market Street in Philadelphia. Tin is probably from the turn of the century. and has a neat slogan in the middle that reads, "Tis a Feat to Fit Feet". Neat old tin measures 2 and 1/4" in diameter. The second tin advertises for Griffin Oxblood ABC Wax Shoe Polish. Product was made by the Griffin Mfg. Co. Inc. out of Brooklyn, NY. Has a diameter of about 3.5". The third tin advertises for Cadet Oxblood Whittemore's Oil Paste Shoe Polish. Product was made by the Whittemore Bros. Corporation out of Boston, MA. Has a diameter of about 3.5". Tins are in good condition overall for their age with some natural wear present. Please see pictures for design and condition detail. Wonderful set of 3 different vintage shoe polish tins would be great finds for your collection. Don't miss them.
